Employee Acknowledgment of NIB Deduction Waiver

The National Insurance Board (NIB) is a legal requirement under the laws of the Commonwealth of The Bahamas. By law, all employers must deduct NIB contributions from their employees wages and submit these contributions to the National Insurance Board. NIB provides social security benefits, including sickness, maternity, unemployment and retirement benefits.

Employee Declaration:

I acknowledge that I am gainfully employed with another company, and NIB deductions are being paid from my wages through another employer or by me, as a self-employed person. As such, I am requesting that Tropical Breeze Tours DO NOT DEDUCT NIB contributions from my weekly pay.

I confirm the following:

1. I have read and understand the NIB deduction requirements as stipulated by the laws of the Commonwealth of The Bahamas.

2. I acknowledge that Tropical Breeze Tours is required by law to deduct NIB contributions, but I am voluntarily requesting an exemption from this deduction due to contributions being made by another employer.

3. I agree to hold Tropical Breeze Tours harmless and not hold them accountable for any failure, violation, or legal consequences related to the non-deduction of NIB contributions from my wages.

4. I am swearing to this decision of my own free will and understand the implications of not having NIB contributions deducted by Tropical Breeze Tours.
